An excerpt from Nurse's Exam

"Get on the table."

"Please no," she begged softly.

"You must get on the table." She hesitated still. Suddenly, he struck the speculum on the examination table with a violent crash. "Now!" the doctor barked.

Aiyo obeyed.

When she sat demurely on the edge of the table, trembling slightly and trying to keep herself from crying, Doctor Omichi smiled wickedly and stroked her cheek with the cold, steel instrument. "Now," he said, "we can begin the examination, Miss Imagasho."
